Creating a New Project

Measure it yourself

Draw every layer on the map in the self-measure canvas and get your results instantly, for a flat credit cost. You’re in full control of the takeoff.

Send it for review

Short on time? Just outline the property and submit it — PropertyMeasure’s team digitizes every layer for you (priced per acre) and returns the finished measurement.

Step 1: Project Details

Enter the following information:

  • • Project name for easy identification
  • • Property location (address or coordinates)
  • • Upload property blueprint (optional)
  • • Additional project notes

Step 2: Map Interface

The map interface provides:

  • • Automatic location zoom based on address
  • • Multiple map layer options (Satellite, Street, Hybrid)
  • • Drawing tools for boundary marking
  • • Label and boundary visibility toggles

Step 3: Layer Selection

Choose measurement layers:

  • • Turf and Grass Areas
  • • Trees and Vegetation
  • • Parking Areas
  • • Buildings
  • • Hedges and Bushes
  • • Walkways and Paths
  • • Water Features
  • • Custom Elements

Review and Results

Review Process (expert-measured projects)

If you chose to send your project for review (rather than measuring it yourself), here’s what happens:

  1. 1. Our team reviews the boundary and selected layers
  2. 2. Measurements are calculated using AI and verified by experts
  3. 3. You'll receive a notification when measurements are complete
  4. 4. Access detailed measurements from your dashboard

Note: Review process typically takes 24-48 hours depending on project complexity

Viewing Project Results

Once measurements are complete, you can:

Interactive Map View

  • • View all measured layers
  • • Toggle layer visibility
  • • Access measurement details

Measurement Data

  • • Detailed area calculations
  • • Item counts (trees, features)

Client Portal

Invite the property managers you work with to their own portal, where they can report site issues and follow the work through to completion — turning one-off measurements into an ongoing client relationship.

Inviting a property manager

  1. Open a property from your Dashboard, or its per-property page.
  2. In the Portal column (or the Property manager card), choose Invite a manager.
  3. Enter their name, company, email, and mobile number, then send the invite.
  4. They receive an email link that sets up their portal — no account setup on their end.
  5. Need to send it again or add another manager? Use Re-send or invite another on the property.

How an issue flows

The manager reports

  • • Describes the issue and where it is on site
  • • Attaches photos and video
  • • Follows the live status and timeline

You respond

  • • Acknowledge and schedule the visit
  • • Send a quote for out-of-scope work
  • • Mark complete — the manager confirms and closes

Every message and status change is timestamped and kept in one thread, moving from Reported → Acknowledged → Scheduled → Resolved → Closed.
